Wildwood Friday News December 4, 2020
If this were an ordinary school year, it’s hard to imagine that this would be auction day. Our students would be getting ready to perform and the gym would look beautiful! How we miss all of that excitement!
But, our :”Not Your Usual Bake Sale” is coming up next Friday. We are looking forward to that and hope that you are too! Be sure to stop in and see what is for sale from 2:30-5:30 on Friday, December 11. If you are donating items, they must be wrapped while still being visible and labeled ready for sale. Bring “goods and goodies” to the school any time on Thursday or Friday morning. When attending the sale, please enter through the main gym doors wearing a mask and social distancing. Any child attending the sale with you can choose a free holiday pencil. Only checks or cash may be used for payment. We’ll see you at the sale!
One of the special treats at our auction has been the food. Perhaps you remember the brisket prepared by Ryan Hastings. He will be smoking 5 briskets on the weekend of the 16th of January. If you would like to purchase one, the cost will be $80. 100% will go to Wildwood. Let us know if you are interested. We will put you in touch with Ryan and DJ so they can work out all of the details of how to get it to you.
School picture retakes are on Tuesday. If your child was absent or would like to have his or her photo retaken let us know so we can let the photographers know. All students have their pictures taken whether they pay for them or not. Class pictures this year will be a composite of the student photos rather than a picture taken of the class.
