    Dates to remember…

     January 16-Martin Luther King Day—no school

     January 17-19 middle school midterm exams

     January 23—second quarter report cards go home

     January 27—honors chapel

 

 

SCRIP... We have plenty of gift cards available in the office. Check out what we have when you need a gift card for someone or when you are going shopping.

 

Soldier of the Quarter…We are looking for a soldier to support with prayers and cards for the next few weeks. If you have a suggestion, please let us know.

 

Boxtops for Education…Our next collection date is January 30. Sheets went home with the students for them to fill up. Check out www.boxtops4education.com to see all of the different ways that you can get bonuses for our school.

 

Physical Education class news…We will again be using wheels in class in the month of February. Students will be allowed to bring in roller skates and scooters. They will only be allowed during structured classtime, not before or after school or during recess.

 

School Cancellations…If we cancel or delay school due to bad weather, announcements will be made on WICH, WCTY, WNLC, and WKNL. It also will be shown on wfsb channel 3, nbc 30, foxCT 61 and on our website-mywildwood.org. With wfsb 3 and nbc 30, you can sign up for the station to send alerts to your cell phone when school is canceled.

 

Continue to pray for Sharon Smith, our school nurse. She will be out of school a few more weeks due to weakness and difficulty breathing. Pray also for our staff and students that they will be healthy during the winter months.
